ATX CPU 8 Pin EPS Extension Cable

This 32-inch extension cable connects a power supply 8-pin EPS female connector to a motherboard 8(4+4)-pin EPS male connector. It adds reach for cable routing in large chassis or when the PSU cable falls short. The cable is rated for a maximum of 500W and uses standard 18 AWG wiring under UL1007 specification. It is a new internal power cable component for desktop builds.

18 AWG UL1007 wiring and 500W rating

The 18 AWG conductors with UL1007 insulation support up to 500W of power delivery to the CPU socket. This gauge and rating handle typical high-performance desktop processors without voltage drop over the 32-inch run. The female-to-male connector arrangement extends the existing PSU cable directly, requiring no adapters or additional software. The black colour matches most standard cable sleeving.

Length limit and connector compatibility

The fixed 32-inch length suits ATX and E-ATX motherboard layouts but may be excessive for small form factor cases where slack cannot be managed. Builders needing a shorter reach or a different pin configuration, such as a 4-pin CPU connector, cannot use this cable. The EPS 8-pin male end splits into 4+4 pins, so it fits both 8-pin and 4-pin motherboard headers, but it does not convert to PCIe or other power standards.
