This pack contains two rewireable NEMA 5-15R female receptacles rated for 125 volts and 15 amps. They are intended for DIY repairs on damaged power cords or for building custom extension leads. The grounding-type design accepts standard three-prong North American plugs. Black ABS housing provides flame-retardant insulation.

Rated for 125 volts and 15 amps

The connectors are specified at 125 volts AC with a 15-amp continuous current limit, yielding a maximum load of 1875 watts. They also carry a 250-volt rating on the moulding, but the certified operating voltage for North American use remains 125 volts. Exceeding the 15-amp rating will overheat the contacts and create a fire hazard. No circuit-breaker or fuse is integrated.

Simple screw-terminal wiring
