NEMA 5-15P to Schuko Female Adapter

This adapter connects a North American NEMA 5-15P plug to a European Schuko CEE7/7 socket. It allows equipment with a US three-prong plug to operate from a standard European wall outlet. The unit is rated for 15A at 250V and weighs 40g. It is supplied as a single black adapter in a one-piece package.

Travellers with US plugs needing EU sockets

Travellers or installers who need to plug a US-style device into a European Schuko outlet will find this adapter suitable. It does not transform voltage, so equipment must already support the local mains voltage. Buyers who require voltage conversion or grounding for non-Schuko European sockets should look at a different solution.

15A 250V rating determines safe load

The adapter is rated for a maximum of 15A at 250V. This rating defines the highest continuous current and voltage the contacts and housing can handle safely. Exceeding either value risks overheating or damage. Verify that the connected device and the supply circuit both stay within these limits before use.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the adapter is making a solid connection after plugging it in?

The NEMA 5-15P plug seats firmly into the US outlet and the Schuko female receptacle accepts the European plug with a tight fit; no indicator light is present so a secure mechanical engagement is the only confirmation.

What exactly ships in the single package?

One black NEMA 5-15P to Schuko female adapter weighing 40 g is included; no cables, voltage converters or additional accessories are supplied.

Which version should I choose for a 15 A 250 V European appliance?

The sole variant offered is rated 15 A 250 V and uses a CEE 7/7 Schuko female socket, matching standard European plugs.
