Indoor climate monitoring

The TempPro TP357 is a Bluetooth thermometer and hygrometer designed for home environmental tracking. It measures temperature from 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity with a comfort indicator. The device connects to a smartphone app for remote monitoring and alerts. Data history is stored for up to one year for trend analysis.

Best for fixed locations needing alerts

This unit suits homeowners monitoring rooms, basements, or wine cellars who want phone notifications when conditions drift. It is not for users requiring a handheld probe for spot-checking food or HVAC vents. Buyers needing a display visible across a large room without a phone should look elsewhere. The sensor refreshes every 10 seconds for timely updates.

260-foot Bluetooth range

The wireless link reaches 260 feet or 80 meters with no obstructions, deciding whether whole-home coverage is possible. Walls and floors will reduce this distance in practice. Accuracy is rated at ±1 degree for temperature and ±2% for humidity. The device operates on alkaline batteries within the same 32 to 140 degree range.

Questions about this item

Which smartphone operating system is required to pair the TP357 thermometer?

The ThermoPro Sensor app works with iOS and Android devices; install the app, enable Bluetooth, and follow the in-app pairing steps to connect the sensor.

Can the TP357 operate in the same temperature range as my existing 32–140 °F hygrometer?

Yes, the TP357 is rated for 32 °F to 140 °F operating and storage environments, matching that range exactly.

How do I verify the ±1 °F and ±2 % accuracy after setup?

Place the unit beside a calibrated reference; readings should stay within one degree Fahrenheit or Celsius and two percent relative humidity, and the app graph updates every 10 seconds for comparison.
