The TENMARS ELECTRONICS TM-901N is a handheld LAN cable tester designed for electricians and network installers. It verifies wiring on RJ-45 UTP and STP cables and measures length up to 255 M with 0.1 m resolution. The backlit LCD shows wire-map, opens, shorts, miswires, split pairs and remote ID numbers on one screen. Up to eight remote ID locators can be used for cable identification.

Suited for single-cable verification.

This tool suits technicians who need quick wire-map checks and length readings on individual RJ-45 runs. It is not for installers who require certification reports, frequency-sweep analysis or simultaneous multi-cable testing. The tester measures cable length up to 255 M (836 ft) with a resolution of 0.1 m and stated accuracy of +/- 10% + 1.0 M. Power comes from one 9 V battery and six 1.5 V cells, which are not included.
