Tesa 62936 Double-Sided Polyethylene Foam Tape Black

Ideal for constructive mounting

Tesa 62936 is a double-sided polyethylene foam tape designed for constructive mounting applications. It uses a highly conformable PE foam backing with a tackified acrylic adhesive. The tape provides high immediate adhesion on numerous substrates. It achieves a high ultimate adhesion level for secure bonding performance.

Check surface suitability first

Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry and compatible with acrylic adhesive systems. The foam conforms to irregular profiles but cannot compensate for loose paint or structural movement. Outdoor exposure requires UV, water and aging resistance that this product supplies. Verify the substrate temperature range suits the application environment.

German-made foam with acrylic adhesive

Manufactured in Germany, the tape combines a black polyethylene foam core with a tackified acrylic adhesive on both sides. The foam structure distributes stress across the bond line during daily thermal cycling. Its outdoor rating means the adhesive retains strength through rain, sunlight and seasonal temperature swings without degrading.
