Flexible Neon LED Strip 12V IP65

This 12V flexible neon LED strip uses a silicone tube for waterproof IP65 protection and cool white illumination. It suits signage, architectural outlines and decorative lighting both indoors and outdoors. The strip runs on low voltage for safe everyday use. Buyers needing mains-voltage operation or colour-changing effects cannot use this single-colour 12V product.

Installation and common issues

The strip cuts at 2.5 cm intervals and bends 360 degrees for custom shapes. Extra silicone glue is required to mount cut sections securely. A 12V power supply must be sourced separately; incorrect voltage will damage the LEDs. Cutting outside the marked points or skipping the glue seal breaks the IP65 rating.

Practical limits of 12V IP65 LED strip

Each metre draws 12 W with 120 LEDs using 2835 chips and a 120° beam angle. Voltage drop limits maximum run length on a single feed. The IP65 rating covers water jets but not submersion. Cool white output is fixed; no dimming or colour control is built in.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 12V 2835 LED strip is working correctly after installation?

Power the strip at 12V and confirm cool white light emits evenly across the 120° beam angle with no dark sections along the silicone tube.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately to mount the IP65 neon strip?

The strip includes the 12V LED neon tube; you must buy silicone glue separately to secure cut sections and any 12V power supply or controller not included.

Which length should I choose if I need a continuous run that I can cut every 2.5 cm?

Select the 1M, 2M, 3M or 5M roll that matches your total run length; each version can be cut at 2.5 cm intervals for custom sizing.
