Connects 3/8″ ID and 1/2″ OD tubing with a G 1/4 thread, black chrome-plated brass body and pre-installed O-ring
This Thermaltake Pacific fitting connects 3/8 inch inner diameter tubing to a G 1/4 thread port in a custom liquid cooling loop. The black chrome plated brass body weighs 41 g and measures 18 by 22.2 mm. A pre-installed O-ring helps ensure a leak free seal with compatible PVC tubing.
Switching to this compression design removes the need for separate clamps and reduces the risk of tube blow-off under pressure. The step is worth it when you want a cleaner look and a more reliable seal without changing tube dimensions or thread standard.
Confirm your tubing carries the exact 3/8 inch inner diameter and 1/2 inch outer diameter listed for this fitting. Ensure the component you connect to provides a G 1/4 female thread and that your loop plan accommodates the 22.2 mm installed height.

The fitting uses a standard G 1/4 thread, so it screws directly into any component with a matching G 1/4 female port.
Push the 1/2 inch OD tube fully over the barb until it contacts the body, then hand-tighten the compression collar; the pre-installed O-ring seals the joint.
Inspect the black O-ring whenever the loop is drained; replace it if it shows cracking, flattening or loss of elasticity.
