Thinkstar Cat6 CMR 1000ft Yellow 23AWG 550MHz Solid Copper Bulk Cable

Cat6 CMR 1000ft bulk cable

This 1000ft bulk Ethernet cable is rated Cat6 CMR for riser installations between floors and inside walls. The 23AWG solid bare copper conductors support 1 and 5 Gigabit speeds up to 328 feet and 10 Gigabit speeds up to 165 feet. Bandwidth is tested up to 550 MHz and the cable handles PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ up to 60W and 300V DC per IEEE 802.3 standards.

Check jacket rating and run length

Verify that your local code accepts a CMR riser jacket for the intended vertical or in-wall routes; this cable is not rated for plenum spaces. Confirm that each individual run stays within 328 feet for 1 or 5 Gigabit operation or 165 feet for 10 Gigabit operation. Ensure your termination tools and keystones are compatible with 23AWG solid copper conductors.

Solid copper build and pull-box

The four twisted pairs use solid bare copper rather than copper-clad aluminium, giving stronger signal integrity and better conductivity. The yellow CMR jacket provides mild flame retardance to help limit fire spread between floors. Cable ships in a tangle-free easy-pull box containing 305 metres of length for straightforward dispensing during installation.
