Plenum-Rated Cat6 for Air-Handling Spaces

This plenum-rated Cat6 cable meets fire-safety requirements for installation in air-handling areas above suspended ceilings or below raised floors. The green jacket provides low-toxicity smoke and high flame resistance. It contains four pairs of 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors for reliable signal transmission. Supplied in a 1000ft tangle-free pull box for efficient deployment.

Suited for PoE++ and Multi-Gigabit Runs

Installers running PoE, PoE+ or PoE++ (4PPoE) up to 90W will find this cable fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt. It supports 1 and 5 Gigabit speeds up to 328 feet and 10 Gigabit speeds up to 165 feet depending on the environment. Builders needing shielded cable for high-EMI environments or outdoor burial-rated jacket should look elsewhere.

550MHz Bandwidth with 1000ft Continuous Length

The cable is bandwidth-tested to 550 MHz, providing headroom for demanding data applications. The 1000ft (305 metres) pull box delivers a single continuous length for large projects without splices. At 10 Gigabit speeds the practical limit is 165 feet, so longer 10G runs will require a higher-category solution.
