White Cat6 riser cable, 1000 ft of 23 AWG solid copper tested to 550 MHz, supports 10 Gbps up to 165 ft and PoE++ to 60 W

  • Product colorWhite
  • Supports 1 Gbps and 5 Gbps up to 328 feet
  • 10 Gbps achievable up to 165 feet depending on environment

  • Solid bare copper conductors ensure stronger signal and better conductivity
  • CMR riser jacket resists flame spread between floors in vertical runs

Indoor Riser Cable

This Cat6 riser (CMR) cable is built for indoor vertical runs between floors and inside walls. It uses 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors in four twisted pairs. The jacket is rated to limit flame spread in non-plenum spaces.

Tested Bandwidth and Power Support

Bandwidth is tested up to 550 MHz. The cable carries 1 and 5 Gigabit speeds up to 328 feet and 10 Gigabit up to 165 feet depending on the installation environment. It supports PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ under IEEE 802.3af/at/bt up to 60W and 300V DC.

Easy-Pull Box and Solid Copper

One thousand feet (305 meters) ship in a tangle-free easy-pull box for continuous pulls. Solid bare copper gives stronger signal and better conductivity than copper-clad aluminium. The unshielded twisted-pair design suits standard indoor structured wiring.

Questions about this item

How do I pull the 1000ft White cable from the box without kinking the 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors?

Feed from the easy-pull box centre, keep bends gentle, and avoid sharp tugs so the solid bare copper pairs stay intact for 550 MHz performance.

What maintenance or replacement will the White Cat6 riser cable need after installation?

The solid bare copper conductors and CMR jacket require no scheduled maintenance; replace only if physical damage occurs or a future standard demands higher than 550 MHz bandwidth.

At what distance does the 550 MHz Cat6 cable hit its limit for 10 Gigabit speeds under sustained use?

10 Gigabit is supported up to 165 feet; beyond that the 550 MHz bandwidth ceiling makes 10G unreliable, while 1 and 5 Gigabit run to 328 feet.
