Cat6 Riser cable for indoor runs

This 1000ft bulk cable uses 23AWG solid bare copper conductors in four twisted pairs. It is CMR rated for installation between floors and inside non-plenum walls. The yellow jacket provides mild flame retardance to help limit vertical fire spread. ETL listing confirms compliance with the relevant safety standards.

Pull-box design and PoE support

Supplied in a tangle-free easy-pull box, the cable pays out cleanly during long pulls. Bandwidth is tested to 550MHz and the construction supports PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ up to 60W and 300V DC. Unshielded twisted-pair geometry keeps the cable flexible for routing through studs and conduit.

Speed distances and upgrade context

The cable handles 1 and 5 Gigabit speeds up to 328ft and 10 Gigabit up to 165ft depending on the installation environment. It replaces older Category 5e runs when higher bandwidth headroom is required. The jump is worthwhile for new drops that may carry 10GBASE-T or high-power PoE++ devices.
