The enclosure measures 5.86 by 1.65 by 7.24 inches and weighs 1.7 pounds, occupying one 5.25 inch bay. A high-speed internal fan provides active cooling while a panel lock with two keys secures the drive. Mounting screws are included and the hot-swappable design allows drive changes without powering down the system.

Interface limits

The rack passes through a 7 pin SATA data connector and a 15 pin SATA power connector, so performance is bound by the SATA revision supported by the host controller and the installed drive.
