Report cover for letter-size filing

The TOPS 71106 PressGuard report cover is a black pressboard binder built for letter-size documents. A two-prong metal fastener secures up to 2.00 inches of paper. The top-hinge design gives more usable writing space on each sheet. A coated PressGuard surface resists dirt, moisture and daily wear.

Check sheet size and fastener fit

Verify that your documents are letter size at 8.5 by 11 inches before ordering. The prong fastener requires pre-punched holes matching a standard two-hole pattern. Ensure the 2.00-inch capacity matches the thickness of the reports you plan to store.

Replaces basic folders and lighter covers

This cover upgrades from standard file folders that tear quickly or lack moisture resistance. The tape-reinforced hinge and rigid PressGuard stock are worth the jump when reports are handled frequently or need long-term protection. Not suited for binders requiring ring mechanisms or capacities above 2.00 inches.

Questions about this item

Does the TOPS 71106 report cover come with paper inside, or do I need to buy letter-size sheets separately?

The cover is sold empty; you supply your own 8.5 x 11 in. letter-size paper for the two-prong fastener.

Should I choose the 2.00" capacity model or a different size for my project?

This model holds up to 2.00" of paper; select it when you need to bind thick reports, otherwise a lower-capacity cover would suffice.

How much paper does the 2.00" fastener actually hold in everyday use?

The two-prong metal fastener secures a full 2.00" stack of letter-size sheets, and the reinforced top hinge keeps the stack aligned during frequent opening.
