This passive Toslink splitter takes a single optical audio source and duplicates the signal to two receiving devices such as a soundbar and an AV receiver. Supported Formats and Cable Limits

The splitter passes Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1 and LPCM 2.0 at sampling rates up to 96 kHz. It does not support Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD or uncompressed 7.1-channel PCM. For reliable operation each output Toslink cable must be shorter than 10 ft. Signal strength is divided between the two ports, so very long runs may cause drop-outs on one or both outputs.
