The TP-Link Deco X55 two-pack delivers AX3000 whole-home mesh Wi-Fi 6 coverage up to 4,500 square feet. Each unit provides three Gigabit Ethernet ports with WAN/LAN auto-sensing for wired backhaul flexibility. The system supports up to 150 connected devices across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It suits households that need seamless roaming and a single network name throughout the home.

Passive Cooling and Low Power Draw

Each Deco unit operates without fans, relying on passive thermal design within its 4.33 by 4.33 by 4.49 inch white chassis. Power consumption is limited to the included 12 V 1.5 A adapter, keeping electricity use and heat output minimal. The hardware is rated for continuous operation between 0 °C and 40 °C at 10 to 90 percent non-condensing humidity. Silent running makes it suitable for bedrooms, offices and living spaces.

Simple Placement and Expandable Layout

The compact square footprint allows discreet placement on shelves, desks or countertops without blocking adjacent outlets. Any unit can function as the main router, so the primary gateway can sit wherever the ISP connection enters the property. Additional Deco units can be added later to extend coverage beyond the initial 4,500 square feet. Management requires only the Deco app on Android 4.4 or later or iOS 9.0 or later.
