Three-unit mesh system for whole-home Wi-Fi 6

The TP-Link Deco X60 three-pack delivers AX3000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 across up to 7,000 sq. ft. Each node includes a 1 GHz quad-core processor, four internal antennas and one gigabit WAN plus one gigabit LAN port. The system supports WPA3, SPI firewall and HomeShield parental controls managed through the Deco app.

Suits households that want seamless roaming

Families streaming 4K video, gaming or working from multiple rooms benefit from OFDMA and MU-MIMO capacity across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Buyers who need more than one wired LAN port per unit, faster than gigabit Ethernet backhaul or coverage beyond 7,000 sq. ft. without adding nodes should consider other options.

Dual-band AX3000 wireless throughput

The 5 GHz radio reaches 2,402 Mbps and the 2.4 GHz radio reaches 574 Mbps, combining for the rated AX3000 speed. This single wireless ceiling determines whether the system can handle your peak streaming, gaming and video-call loads.

Questions about this item

What does the AX3000 rating mean for everyday use?

It combines a 5 GHz link up to 2402 Mbps and a 2.4 GHz link up to 574 Mbps, giving a theoretical peak of 3000 Mbps across both bands in a real home.

How does the Gigabit Ethernet port limit wired speeds?

Each Deco unit has one 10/100/1000M WAN and one 10/100/1000M LAN port, so wired backhaul or client connections top out at 1000 Mbps.

What space is needed to place each Deco unit?

Each unit measures 4.33 by 4.33 by 4.49 inches and has internal antennas, so it sits flat on a shelf or desk without external protrusions.
