WiFi 5 access point delivering 1.3 Gbps with mesh, seamless roaming and free cloud management via PoE
The TP-Link Festa F52 is a ceiling or wall mounted wireless access point delivering up to 1.3 Gbps combined throughput across dual bands. It targets small offices, retail spaces or home users who want centralised cloud management without a hardware controller. The unit ships with a PoE adapter and mounting kit for single cable deployment.
This access point suits installers who need captive portal authentication, VLAN tagging and up to four thousand MAC address filters managed through a free mobile app or web portal. It is not for environments that require integration with the Omada SDN platform, nor for projects needing multi-gigabit uplink speeds or hardware controller redundancy. Buyers who want more storage or advanced roaming analytics should look at something else.
The only wired interface is one RJ45 port operating at 1 Gbps, which carries both data and 802.3af or passive PoE power. This port capacity defines the maximum backhaul bandwidth available to the wireless radios, so network planners must verify that 1 Gbps satisfies the aggregate client load before purchasing.

Other versions of this model
Use 2.4 GHz for longer range through walls at 450 Mbps, and 5 GHz for faster 867 Mbps speeds over shorter distances.
The 1.3 Gbps figure combines 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz; a single client will see up to the per-band limit, not the sum.
The single 1 Gbps port caps wired throughput at 1 Gbps, and the included PoE adapter powers the unit over that same cable.
