Dual-band wireless access point delivers 1.2 Gbps with four antennas, MU-MIMO, Beamforming and passive PoE for flexible mounting
Model TL-WA1201
The TP-Link TL-WA1201 is a dual-band wireless access point designed for desktop placement. It delivers AC1200 speeds using 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology and includes a Passive PoE injector for flexible power options. Four fixed high-performance antennas with Beamforming extend coverage across homes or small offices.
This unit operates in Access Point, Client, Range Extender and Multi-SSID modes, making it adaptable for varied network topologies. Captive Portal support adds value for guest-facing businesses such as cafes. Buyers who require active PoE negotiation or ceiling-mount brackets should consider other solutions.
The single 10/100/1000 Mbps port accepts power from the supplied injector over Ethernet cable up to 100 feet. This port speed and power method determine whether the TL-WA1201 fits your existing cabling and switch infrastructure.
