Universal figure-8 cord

This 15 ft two-prong extension cord from TPLTECH carries a UL listing and uses 18 AWG wiring rated for 125 volts at 7 amps. The IEC320 C7 figure-8 connector plugs into a wide range of game consoles and home-electronics devices, while the NEMA 1-15P plug fits standard North American outlets. The black jacket is 15 ft long, giving extra reach behind furniture or across a room.

Consoles and small appliances

The cord suits owners of Xbox Series X, Series S, One S, One X, PlayStation 5, PS5 Slim, PS5 Pro, PS4, PS4 Slim, PS3 Slim and PS3 Super Slim consoles who need a single replacement lead. It also fits most Samsung, TCL, LG, Insignia, Hisense and Sony televisions plus printers, speakers and sound bars that use the same figure-8 inlet. Buyers whose equipment requires a three-prong grounded connector or a different IEC inlet cannot use this cable.

One spare replaces many

Because the same figure-8 connector appears on every listed console and many AV devices, a single spare cord covers multiple systems and reduces the number of cables kept on hand. Swapping the cord between a console and a TV or sound bar takes seconds, so there is no need to hunt for model-specific leads. The UL certification confirms the cord meets the safety requirements for the stated voltage and current ratings.
