Traditions Computer Power Cord

This new power cord from Traditions is a generic component designed to connect computing equipment to a mains supply. It serves as a standard replacement or spare lead for compatible hardware. The item is supplied as a cable unit ready for installation.

Basic power connection only

This cord suits users who need a simple AC mains link for a device with a matching inlet. It is not for buyers who require an integrated flame sensor or temperature detection module, as this product is a passive power cable without active sensing electronics.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the IR flame sensor module is detecting flame after wiring it up?

Apply a flame source to the sensor; the onboard indicator LED will light and the digital output pin will switch state to show detection.

What comes in the box and what extra parts are needed to use the IR flame sensor module?

The box contains the IR flame sensor module board; you must supply a 5 V power source, jumper wires, and a microcontroller or logic circuit to read the output.
