Two-computer HDMI KVM switch

The TRENDnet 15707 lets two computers share one HDMI monitor, a keyboard, a mouse and up to four USB 3.0 peripherals. It supports resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz and lower refresh rates such as 2560×1440 at 120 Hz or 1920×1080 at 240 Hz. Both USB-A-to-B cables must be connected for power and data. The unit includes built-in cables and push-button switching.

Sustained USB 3.0 throughput

USB 3.0 ports deliver up to 5 Gbps bandwidth for attached storage or printers during long sessions. The aluminium enclosure passively dissipates heat without a fan, so performance remains stable when multiple high-speed devices transfer data continuously. Switching between computers causes a brief display blackout of several seconds while the monitor re-syncs.

HDMI 2.0 and HDCP limits

The switch implements HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 and 1.4, enabling protected 4K@60 Hz content but not higher bandwidth modes. It does not support DisplayPort signals, hotkey switching or EDID emulation. Only one monitor can be driven; dual-display setups are not possible with this device.
