Triangle Borea BR03 100W 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers Pair White home audio speaker

Compact audiophile bookshelf pair

The Triangle Borea BR03 is a 2-way bookshelf speaker pair finished in white, designed for dedicated listeners who want floorstander-scale performance in a smaller cabinet. Each enclosure uses a 25mm EFS silk dome tweeter and a 16cm midrange/bass driver with an untreated cellulose paper membrane developed for the Esprit Ez series. The system delivers a natural, uncoloured sound that preserves vocal intensity and low-frequency dynamism without listening fatigue.

Room size and amplifier matching

These speakers are engineered for rooms between 15 and 30 square metres and present an 8 Ohm nominal impedance with a 4.2 Ohm minimum, so they work with a wide range of amplifiers and receivers. The frequency response spans 46 Hz to 22 kHz and power handling is rated at 100W, giving robust, dynamic output at any volume level. Dedicated stands such as the S02 or S04 are recommended for proper placement and optimal dispersion.

Upgrade from basic stereo pairs

The BR03 replaces entry-level bookshelf speakers that lack the driver refinement and cabinet engineering needed for extended, fatigue-free listening sessions. The jump is worthwhile when you need deeper bass authority, wider high-frequency dispersion from the EFS tweeter phase plug, and a midrange that retains clarity at higher output levels. Buyers who require wireless streaming, built-in amplification or a smaller footprint for desktop use should look elsewhere.
