16-port DisplayPort KVM console with 17-inch LCD and IP remote access in 1U rack-mount form factor
This 1U rack-mount console integrates a 17 in. LCD, keyboard and touchpad with a 16-port DisplayPort KVM switch. It provides local control and IP remote access for up to sixteen servers from a single chassis. The unit is new and ships with DisplayPort, USB and power cables.
Administrators managing multiple DisplayPort-equipped servers in a single rack will benefit from the integrated console and remote management. Environments that require HDMI, VGA or DVI video connections cannot use this switch without separate adapters. Buyers needing more than sixteen ports should look at a different solution.
The dual-rail design lets the LCD slide independently of the keyboard tray, saving space in crowded cabinets. Two 6 ft DisplayPort and USB cables connect the first two servers; additional servers need their own cable sets. A C13 to NEMA 5-15P cord powers the console from a standard PDU.

The console manages 16 DisplayPort-connected servers; each server needs a DisplayPort output and a USB 2.0 port for keyboard and mouse control.
This unit only accepts DisplayPort video and USB 2.0 inputs; VGA or DVI servers would need active DisplayPort converters to connect.
The front LCD should display the active server's video, and the IP module should serve a web interface reachable from the management network.
