A 2 ft Category 6 patch cable with RJ-45 male connectors for data, voice and video distribution up to 550 MHz
The Tripp Lite N201-002-GN is a 2 ft Category 6 patch cable with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. It supports data, voice and video distribution in Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 network applications. The green snagless boot protects the locking tab during installation and removal.
The cable is UL verified and meets EIA/TIA Cat6 TIA/EIA-568-B-2.1 draft 9 standards for stable performance up to 550 MHz. High-quality copper conductors and a staggered-pin plug design keep near-end crosstalk to a minimum during continuous operation. This construction maintains reliable throughput over the full length without signal degradation.
The 2 ft length fixes the maximum distance between connected devices. Buyers who need longer runs between patch panels, switches or wall outlets cannot use this cable. The fixed RJ-45 male connectors also prevent field termination or gender changes.

The cable is passive copper wiring with no active electronics, so it produces no measurable heat and draws no power of its own during continuous use.
Both devices need standard RJ-45 Ethernet jacks — such as a router, switch, PC, NAS or IP camera — because the cable terminates in male RJ-45 plugs on each end.
Yes, it is designed for Category 6, 5e and 5 applications and meets TIA/EIA-568-B-2.1 draft 9, so it interoperates with existing Cat5e and Cat5 infrastructure.
