25 ft Cat6 snagless patch cable

This 25 ft Cat6 patch cable provides a wired Gigabit link for desktops, laptops, switches and routers. The snagless moulded boots protect the locking tabs during frequent moves or tight routing. It is suited to home offices, small-business networks and anyone who prefers a stable cable connection over Wi-Fi.

Check RJ45 ports and required length

Verify that each device you plan to connect has a standard RJ45 socket and that a 25 ft run reaches between them without tension. The cable is rated for Cat6 performance and remains backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 equipment, so existing hardware will work at its rated speed.

Replaces shorter or damaged Cat5e and Cat6 leads

Use this cable when a factory-made patch lead has failed, when a longer run is needed to reach a relocated router, or when upgrading an older Cat5 link to certified Cat6 bandwidth. It is not intended for in-wall riser or plenum installations that require specific fire-rated jackets.
