25 ft Cat 6 patch cable

The Tripp Lite N201-025-BL is a 25 ft Category 6 patch cable with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. It supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds for wired network connections. The blue snagless molded design protects the locking tabs during installation and removal. This cable suits home offices, small business networks and temporary wiring runs.

Check port type and required reach

Verify that your router, switch or device uses standard RJ-45 ports before ordering. Measure the exact path the cable will follow to confirm 25 ft provides enough slack without excessive coiling. Ensure the pathway can accommodate a molded boot without sharp bends or pinch points that could damage conductors.

Fits standard Gigabit links

The cable connects directly to any Gigabit-capable RJ-45 port on routers, switches, PCs or NAS units. No external power or configuration is required for operation. Using a wired link removes one device from Wi-Fi contention and eliminates signal interference from walls or appliances. The snagless boots keep adjacent ports accessible in dense patch panels.

What real-world speed can I expect from this Cat 6 cable once it is plugged into a gigabit switch?

The Cat 6 rating supports gigabit ethernet throughput on a 25 ft run when connected to gigabit ports.
