10 ft Cat 6 down-angle cable

This 10 ft Cat 6 patch cable connects network devices at up to 1 Gbps. The down-angle RJ45 plug on one end suits switches or panels mounted flush to a wall. It is designed for installers who need a slim profile in tight racks.

Slim profile for dense racks

Over 38% slimmer than standard Cat6 cables, it leaves more room for airflow in full racks. The reduced diameter makes routing around corners and through crowded cable management panels easier. Length is fixed at 10 ft, so longer runs need a different cable.

Molded right-angle connector

Both ends use moulded RJ45 male connectors, one straight and one right-angle down. The blue jacket allows quick visual identification in a busy rack or workstation. The fixed angle cannot be rotated, so the port orientation must match the downward exit.

Questions about this item

Will the down-angle RJ45 connector on this cable fit alongside older straight connectors on my patch panel?

The down-angle RJ45 connector points toward the floor so it sits flush against a wall-mounted panel leaving room for adjacent straight connectors

How can I verify the cable is delivering the rated 1 Gbps after I plug it in?

Check the link lights on both ports — they should show a solid or blinking gigabit indicator and a speed test across the LAN should report near 1 Gbps

Does the package include any cable ties or mounting clips or do I need to buy them separately?

Only the 10 ft blue Cat6 slim cable with molded down-angle and straight RJ45 plugs is included — ties and clips are sold separately
