Two-foot Cat6a cable for 10 GbE links

This two-foot Category 6a patch cord carries 10 Gigabit Ethernet between switches, servers, routers, printers, security cameras and other RJ45 devices. Aqua jacket colour identifies the cable in dense racks. Male RJ45 plugs on both ends are gold-plated for reliable contact.

Suits short rack or patch-panel runs needing PoE

Installers who need a compact link for Power over Ethernet cameras, VoIP phones or access-control units will benefit. Buyers requiring longer horizontal runs, outdoor-rated jackets or fibre uplinks should select a different cable type.

Snagless boots protect locking tabs during install

The moulded strain relief prevents tab break-off when routing through tight cable managers. Gold-plated contacts reduce insertion-loss errors. No tools are required beyond a standard RJ45 port.

Questions about this item

Which devices need RJ45 ports to use this 2 ft cable?

Any network device, switch, patch panel, server, router, hub, printer, computer, photocopier, modem or security camera with a standard RJ45 jack will connect directly.

Will the 10 Gigabit Cat6a cable work with my older Cat5e patch panel and switch?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible and will run at the highest speed both ends support, so it works with existing Cat5e or Cat6 hardware.

How can I confirm the cable is delivering 10 Gigabit performance after installation?

Check the link lights on both ports show a 10 Gbps connection and run a throughput test between the two devices to verify full speed.
