10 ft Cat6a cable for 10 Gigabit networks

This 10 ft Category 6a patch cable connects network devices, switches, patch panels, servers, routers, hubs, printers and modems in high-density data centres and wiring closets. It is built for fast transmission and reliable signal quality across the LAN. The yellow jacket makes it easy to identify in crowded racks.

Check device ports and required run length

Verify that each endpoint has an RJ45 port and that a ten-foot run reaches between the two points without tension. Confirm the switch or router port supports the desired Ethernet speed and that the cable pathway avoids sharp bends or crushing hazards. Ensure the environment suits standard UTP construction.

Snagless connectors and PoE support simplify

RJ45 male connectors feature a snagless boot that protects locking tabs during insertion and removal, while 50-micron gold-plated contacts maintain accurate signal transfer. Power over Ethernet capability lets the cable deliver power to compatible cameras, VoIP phones, kiosks and access-control units, removing the need for separate power supplies at each device.

Questions about this item

What comes with the Tripp Lite N261-010-YW and do I need to buy any connectors separately?

The cable arrives with RJ45 male connectors already fitted to both ends, so no extra plugs or adapters are required.

How do I choose between the different Cat6a lengths or colours that Tripp Lite offers?

This model is the 10 ft yellow version; select a different length or colour only if your run or cable-management scheme calls for it.

What does the Cat6a 10G rating mean when the cable is plugged into my switch or server?

It certifies the link for 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds and supports Power over Ethernet, letting PoE devices such as cameras or VoIP phones draw power through the same cable.
