25-Foot NEMA 5-15 Extension Cord

This 25 ft power extension cord connects a NEMA 5-15P plug to a NEMA 5-15R receptacle. It extends the reach of an existing power cord for devices rated up to 13 amps at 120 volts. The 16 AWG conductors are enclosed in a durable black SJT jacket. It is UL listed for safety compliance.

Installation and Common Issues

Plug the male end into a wall outlet or power strip and connect your device to the female receptacle. Ensure the total load does not exceed the 13 amp rating. A loose fit in worn outlets can cause intermittent power or overheating. Avoid running the cord under carpets or through doorways where damage may occur.

Pre-Order Setup Check

Verify your equipment uses a standard NEMA 5-15P plug and requires no more than 13 amps at 120 volts. Confirm the 25 foot length suits the distance between your power source and the device. Check that the installation path allows the cord to lie flat without sharp bends or pinch points. Ensure the outlet and receptacle are in good condition for a secure connection.
