DVI-D Dual Link to HDMI Adapter

The Tripp Lite P132-000 adapts a DVI-D Dual Link female connection to an HDMI male plug. It enables older DVI cables to connect with newer HDMI equipment. Gold-plated contacts and a moulded rubber housing support signal integrity and durability. The slim profile fits tight spaces behind displays or rack units.

Suitable for digital video links, not audio

This adapter suits installations where a DVI source must reach an HDMI display input. It carries digital video only, so buyers needing audio transmission should look at a different solution. The single female DVI port does not support multiple cables or splitting a signal to two screens.

Connector configuration: DVI-D Female to HDMI Male

The decisive specification is the connector pairing: one DVI-D Dual Link female socket and one HDMI male plug. This fixed orientation determines which devices can be linked without extra cables. Verify that your source provides a DVI-D output and your display accepts an HDMI input before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Tripp Lite P132-000 adapter is passing a signal after connecting my DVI cable to an HDMI display?

Power on both devices and verify the display detects the input source; a stable image without flicker indicates the gold-plated contacts and dual-link DVI-D female connector are functioning correctly.

What comes with the P132-000 and do I need any extra cables to use it?

The box contains only the DVI-D female to HDMI male gold adapter; you must supply your own DVI-D cable for the female end and ensure the target device has an HDMI female port.

Which version of this adapter should I choose for a dual-link DVI-D source connecting to an HDMI input?

The P132-000 is the single model listed and provides a DVI-D dual-link female connector to an HDMI male plug, making it the correct choice for that exact interface pairing.
