Line-interactive 2U rack/tower UPS delivers 1500VA/1350W sine-wave output, corrects 83V–145V, and offers 4.9 min full-load runtime
The Tripp Lite SM1500RMXL2UTAA is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply rated at 1500VA and 1350W. It delivers pure sine-wave output at 120V 60Hz through eight NEMA 5-15R outlets. The unit fits a 2U rack space and meets Federal Trade Agreements Act requirements for GSA Schedule procurement.
The UPS corrects brownouts and overvoltages without using battery power across a 83V to 145V window. Voltages between 127V and 145V are reduced by 12 percent. Surge protection is rated at 570 joules. The NEMA 5-15P input plug connects to a standard 120V circuit.
Valve-regulated lead-acid batteries (replacement cartridge RBC93-2U) are user-replaceable without shutting down connected equipment. Runtime is 4.9 minutes at full load and 14 minutes at half load. Recharge from 10 to 90 percent takes less than 4.5 hours. Management interfaces include USB, DB9 serial, emergency power-off and an open slot for an optional SNMP or web card. Buyers needing longer runtime at full load or three-phase input cannot meet those needs with this model.

Choose this 1500 VA / 1350 W unit when your connected load approaches 1.35 kW; it delivers 4.9 minutes at full load and 14 minutes at half load, while a smaller model would exhaust its battery sooner.
It is the maximum real power the inverter can supply continuously; at that load the internal VRLA batteries last 4.9 minutes, giving you time to shut down servers gracefully.
USB, DB9 serial, EPO contact and an open slot for an SNMP/Web card provide local monitoring, graceful shutdown scripts, emergency power-off triggering and optional network management.
