Double-conversion sine-wave UPS delivers 900 W from eight NEMA 5-15R outlets with hot-swappable battery, LCD, USB, serial and optional network card in a 2U rack/tower chassis
The Tripp Lite SU1000RTXLCD2U is a 1000VA 900W double-conversion online UPS that delivers continuous sine-wave power at 120V. It fits a 2U rack or tower form factor and provides eight NEMA 5-15R outlets for connected equipment. The unit suits network closets, server rooms or workstations that require zero transfer time during power events.
Confirm your facility provides a 120V branch circuit with a NEMA 5-15P receptacle for the UPS input plug. Ensure the combined load of attached devices does not exceed 900W or 1000VA. Check that the 2U rack space or tower footprint accommodates the 3.41" x 17.33" x 17.72" dimensions and that operating temperature stays within 32° to 104°F.
The VRLA battery is hot-swappable, allowing replacement without powering down connected loads. A dedicated slot accepts an optional SNMP/Web interface card for remote monitoring. USB, RS-232 and contact-closure ports provide additional management connectivity. The LCD panel reports runtime, load and voltage status locally.
Measured against everything we stock in Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
The UPS ships with 8 NEMA 5-15R outlets, a NEMA 5-15P input cord, USB, RS-232 and contact-closure cables, and rack-mount hardware. A network management card for the SNMP slot and any external battery packs are sold separately.
This unit delivers 1000 VA and 900 W at 120 V. Select it when your connected load is at or below 900 W; if the load exceeds that figure, a higher-capacity UPS is required.
At a full 900 W load the battery lasts 6.3 minutes; at half load (450 W) it lasts 18.2 minutes. Recharge to 90 % takes less than 3 hours.
