Medical-grade tower UPS delivers 2200VA/1920W with eight outlets, USB and serial management, and 4.4-minute full-load runtime
The Tripp Lite SMART2500XLHG is a 2200VA 1920W tower UPS tested to UL60601-1 for use in patient care areas. It delivers battery backup and surge protection for clinical labs, diagnostic imaging and other medical equipment. Eight outlets include four NEMA 5-15/20R and four IEC C13 receptacles.
The single specification that determines whether this unit fits your installation is its UL60601-1 3rd edition listing. Without this medical grade approval a UPS cannot be deployed inside patient care vicinities. The rating also confirms 510 joules surge suppression and 120 V AC input via a C20 inlet.
The unit sits on a floor or shelf and connects by USB HID, DB9 serial or an optional SNMP card for network management. An emergency power off port and equipotential bonding lug are built in. Runtime is 4.4 minutes at full load or 13 minutes at half load; the VRLA battery pack RBC48V-HGTWR is user replaceable and recharges in 4.5 hours.
Measured against everything we stock in Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.
