12U IP54 floor enclosure

The Tripp Lite SR12UBFFD is a 12U floor-standing rack enclosure built for harsh environments where dust, moisture and accidental contact threaten standard cabinets. Its IP54-rated construction blocks falling dirt, drips and splashes while maintaining airflow through louvered doors. The unit ships fully assembled with 36 M6 cagenuts, screws, washers, four casters, four leveling feet and a replaceable dust filter.

Sustained thermal management

Four high-performance intake fans mounted in the front door pull air through the enclosure from front to side, compensating for the added resistance of the dust filter. The removable filter can be swapped with standard off-the-shelf furnace filters without tools, keeping maintenance simple during continuous operation. This forced-air path protects installed equipment under prolonged load in dirty or humid conditions.

19-inch EIA-310-E compliance

Adjustable mounting rails accept standard 19-inch rackmount gear and support equipment depths from 3 to 32.5 inches, with a factory preset of 10.42 inches. The enclosure meets EIA-310-E dimensional requirements and carries NOM approval for the Mexican market. Total weight capacity reaches 1000 lbs distributed across the 12U of rack space.
