The Tripp Lite SR45UBEXPNDNR3 is a 45U open-frame rack designed to serve as an expansion unit when baying multiple enclosures together. It provides 45U of mounting space for standard 19-inch equipment without sides, doors or a roof. Integrated baying tabs simplify the creation of continuous rack rows in data center environments. The frame supports a 3000 lb static load capacity.

Adjustable square-hole rails with depth index

Front and rear vertical rails feature square mounting holes adjustable in quarter-inch increments from 4 to 37 inches. An easy-view depth index allows consistent rail placement without repeated measurements. Each rack space is numbered for quick reference and supports tool-less button-mount installation of up to four compatible 0U PDUs or cable managers. The unit includes 50 M6 cage nuts and screws plus stabilizing brackets.

Grounded frame with pre-installed casters

All components are electrically bonded to the frame with front and rear threaded grounding points for connection to facility earth ground. Heavy-duty 3-inch casters are pre-installed to simplify maneuvering the 130.00 lb frame into position before leveling.
