12U Wall-Mount Cabinet

The Tripp Lite SRW12UDP is a 12U wall-mount steel enclosure finished in black. It accepts standard 19 in. rack equipment and ships with M6 and 12-24 mounting hardware plus two keys for the locking doors.

Depth and Load Constraints

The cabinet interior accommodates devices up to 20.5 in. deep, a limit set by its low-profile 21.8 in. overall depth. Total installed equipment must not exceed the 200 lb maximum load capacity.

Twelve Rack Units

Twelve rack units of vertical space determine how many patch panels, switches or servers can be installed. Buyers needing more than 12U of equipment height must choose a larger enclosure.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 12U wall-mount rack or a different capacity for my 19 in. equipment?

This model provides 12U of vertical space and accepts standard 19 in. rack gear up to 20.5 in. deep, so select it when your device count and depth fit those limits.

What does the 200 lb load rating mean once the cabinet is mounted on a wall?

The enclosure can hold up to 200 lbs of installed equipment when securely fastened to a suitable wall structure using the included hardware.

How does the 21.8 in. overall depth affect the usable space for my servers?

The cabinet's 21.8 in. depth yields a maximum equipment depth of 20.5 in., leaving a small clearance for cables and airflow at the rear.
