4U Wallmount Rack Bracket

The Tripp Lite SRWALLBRKT4U is a black wall-mount bracket that provides 4U of rack space for network or server equipment. It suits installers who need to secure gear vertically on a wall when floor-standing cabinets are not practical. The unit ships new and ready for standard rackmount hardware.

Suits wall-mounted 4U installs.

This bracket works for technicians mounting patch panels, switches or shallow servers in tight rooms or corridors. It does not meet the needs of builds requiring more than 4U of vertical space, deeper equipment that exceeds the bracket depth, or installations that demand a lockable cabinet door.

Questions about this item

How much noise or heat does the SRWALLBRKT4U generate during continuous operation?

The SRWALLBRKT4U is a passive metal bracket with no fans or power supply, so it produces no noise or heat of its own.

What mounting hardware or wall structure do I need to install this 4U bracket?

You must supply lag bolts or anchors rated for the combined weight of the bracket plus your 4U equipment, and a stud wall or concrete surface that can hold that load.
