What this adapter does

The Tsnam T7 adds Bluetooth 2.0 to any device with a 3.5 mm audio port and a USB socket for power. In RX mode it receives audio from a phone or tablet to wired speakers or a car stereo. In TX mode it sends TV audio to Bluetooth headphones for private listening.

Installing and common issues

Plug the adapter into USB for power and connect the included 3.5 mm AUX cable to the audio port. No driver or app is required. Pairing is automatic once the target device is in pairing mode. The adapter only works with TVs that have a 3.5 mm headphone or audio-out jack; Optical, HDMI ARC and USB audio outputs are not supported.

Capacity and headroom

The unit handles stereo music, navigation prompts and hands-free calls through its built-in microphone. Bluetooth 2.0 bandwidth limits audio to basic stereo quality, so high-resolution or multi-channel formats will not be transmitted. Automatic reconnection works with previously paired devices after the initial setup.

What accessories are included with the T7 and what must I supply myself?

The box contains the T7 adapter and one 3.5 mm AUX cable; you must provide a USB power source such as a car port, TV USB socket or wall charger.

Which Bluetooth version does the T7 use and why does it matter for my headphones?

It uses Bluetooth 2.0, so it will pair with any Bluetooth headphones, speakers or phones that support that version or later.
