4MP Bullet Camera for Outdoor Surveillance

The Turing Video TP-MFB4M28 is a 4 megapixel bullet-style IP camera built for outdoor monitoring. It captures video at up to 2688 x 1520 resolution and uses a 1/3 inch progressive scan CMOS sensor with TwilightVision low-light performance. The camera connects via a single RJ45 10M/100M Ethernet port and supports Power over Ethernet under IEEE 802.3 af.

microSD Slot and ONVIF Profile Expand Recording

A microSD card slot accepts cards up to 256 GB for local edge recording when a network recorder is not available. ONVIF compliance allows the camera to integrate with third-party video management software and NVRs that support the standard. The camera also offers three independent video streams with multiple resolution and frame-rate combinations for simultaneous live view and recording.

Verify PoE Switch Class

The camera draws a maximum of 4 W and requires a PoE switch or injector that delivers IEEE 802.3 af Class 3 power, or a 12 V DC supply with 25 percent tolerance. Ensure your network cabling supports 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet and that the recorder or VMS can handle 2688 x 1520 resolution at 30 fps. Operating temperature ranges from -30 °C to 60 °C with humidity up to 95 percent non-condensing.

Questions about this item

Will the microSD card slot support cards larger than 256GB for continuous recording?

The slot accepts microSD cards up to 256GB; larger cards are not supported by this model.

What limits the maximum frame rate when streaming at 2688×1520 resolution?

The sensor and encoder cap the main stream at 30fps for 2688×1520, so sustained use cannot exceed that rate.

How much heat does the camera generate when powered via PoE at maximum load?

Maximum power draw is 4W over IEEE 802.3af PoE, so heat output stays low during all-day operation.
