ATX server board with AMD EPYC SP3 socket, eight DDR4 channels, twelve SATA ports and dual Gigabit LAN
The TYAN S8030GM2NE is an ATX motherboard built for AMD EPYC 7002 and 7003 series processors in the SP3 socket. It targets system integrators and IT teams assembling single-socket servers or workstations that need high core counts and large memory capacity in a standard form factor.
The board provides eight DIMM slots wired for eight memory channels per CPU, supporting ECC RDIMM up to 512 GB and LRDIMM up to 1 024 GB or 2 048 GB. This capacity ceiling is the specification that determines whether the platform fits memory-intensive workloads such as virtualization hosts or in-memory databases.
Installation follows a conventional ATX footprint of 305.0 x 250.8 mm with a 24-pin main connector and two 8-pin CPU power plugs. Builders should verify chassis clearance for the five full-length PCIe Gen4 x16 slots and confirm that the power supply delivers both 8-pin EPS cables, as a single 8-pin will not meet the 240 W CPU rating.

The board can power processors rated up to 240 W, so you can install high-wattage EPYC 7002 or 7003 CPUs without exceeding the VRM design limit.
Each of the five slots is wired for PCIe Gen4 x16, so the electrical ceiling is the Gen4 x16 rate; the CPU's lane budget decides how many slots can run at that width simultaneously.
It measures 12.0 x 9.9 inch, fits standard ATX cases, and requires one 24-pin plus two 8-pin power connectors.
