A 5 GHz point-to-multipoint client radio delivering 600 Mbit/s throughput with flexible 10/20/30/40/50 MHz channel widths and an integrated high-gain dish for long-range outdoor connectivity
The Ubiquiti LTU Pro is a 5 GHz Point-to-MultiPoint subscriber station built to connect to an LTU-Rocket BaseStation. It uses proprietary LTU technology instead of standard 802.11 Wi-Fi to deliver a 600 Mbit/s link for outdoor or remote deployments. The integrated high-gain dish antenna focuses the signal for long-range connectivity. It suits installers extending a network to multiple fixed locations.
Channel width can be set independently for transmit and receive at 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 MHz anywhere in the band. This flexibility lets the radio dodge local interference that would degrade a fixed-channel link over time. The proprietary protocol maintains efficiency during continuous multi-client traffic without the overhead of standard Wi-Fi contention. Performance stays consistent because the BaseStation schedules every client.
The dish antenna is built into the radio housing, so no separate antenna alignment or cabling is required. A single Ethernet cable carries both data and power to the unit. The mounting hardware secures the dish to a pole or wall for permanent outdoor installation. The all-in-one form factor reduces potential failure points at the feed line and simplifies stocking for multi-site rollouts.

The LTU Pro uses Ubiquiti proprietary LTU technology instead of standard 802.11 Wi-Fi, with flexible channel widths of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 MHz to avoid interference and maintain a stable link all day.
It requires an LTU-Rocket as the BaseStation to operate in a Point-to-MultiPoint environment.
No, the LTU Pro uses proprietary LTU technology and cannot interoperate with standard 802.11 devices; the LTU-Rocket BaseStation manages only LTU clients.
