Compact 2.4 GHz CPE Bridge

The NanoStation M2 is a compact wireless CPE bridge operating at 2.4 GHz with a 10 dBi antenna and 2x2 MIMO. It serves installers and network operators who need affordable point-to-point links or connectivity for video surveillance systems. The international version ships with mounting hardware for rapid pole installation.

10 dBi Gain and 2x2 MIMO

The single specification that determines suitability is the 10 dBi directional gain combined with 2x2 MIMO on the 2.4 GHz band. This defines the link budget and spatial multiplexing available for bridging or client connections. Buyers requiring higher gain or 5 GHz operation should select a different model.

AirOS Management and PoE Output

The integrated airOS software provides the tools needed for setup, monitoring, and control of the wireless link. A secondary Ethernet port offers software-enabled PoE output to power an external device such as a PoE security camera. The unit is built for outdoor durability while remaining lightweight for easy repositioning.

Questions about this item

How does the 10 dBi gain perform in a real link?

The 10 dBi directional antenna focuses signal for longer point-to-point or CPE links, improving throughput and reliability over omnidirectional units in typical outdoor deployments.

What does the secondary Ethernet port power in practice?

The second port provides software-enabled PoE output to run an external device such as a PoE security camera directly from the NanoStation.

What mounting hardware is included for installation?

The package includes a universal pole and mounting straps so the unit can be secured to a mast or pole without extra brackets.
