A 60 GHz point-to-point radio delivering up to 2 Gbps over 12 km links with a precision alignment mount
The Ubiquiti Networks AF60-LR is a long-range 60 GHz radio system designed for point-to-point links up to 12 km or as a client station in point-to-multipoint deployments with a Wave AP. It delivers up to 2 Gbps total throughput through a single GbE RJ45 port and operates in the 57–71 GHz band with vertically linear polarisation and a 1.6° beamwidth. The unit includes a precision alignment mount and integrated GPS for simplified aiming.
Installation uses the supplied precision alignment mount for fine azimuth and elevation adjustment while monitoring the 60G LED and GPS status indicators. Power is provided through the included 48 V DC 0.65 A gigabit passive PoE adapter using either four-pair or two-pair wiring on the single RJ45 port. The narrow 1.6° beamwidth means accurate aiming is critical; misalignment is the most common cause of link instability or failure to establish a connection.
Before ordering verify that a clear optical line of sight exists between the two endpoints because 60 GHz signals do not penetrate obstacles or tolerate heavy rain fade over long distances. The device operates in the 57–71 GHz band subject to local regulatory limits and requires the UISP application for configuration and monitoring. A 44–54 V DC passive PoE source is needed; the included adapter satisfies this requirement. The operating temperature range spans -40 to 60 °C.

The Power LED shows solid blue when connected to the UISP application, the Ethernet LED flashes blue during traffic, the GPS LED turns blue once at least four satellites are acquired, and the 60G LED lights blue when the 60 GHz radio link is active.
The package contains the radio unit, a precision alignment mount and a 48 V DC 0.65 A gigabit PoE adapter; you must supply the Ethernet cable and any pole-mounting hardware for the 413 mm dish.
The AF60-LR is a single model delivering up to 2 Gbps total throughput over 12+ km in PtP mode; select it when you need the long-range 60 GHz dish with integrated GPS and the 1.6° beamwidth.
