Ubiquiti Networks AMV2GTI 17 dBi 2.30-2.60 GHz access point

SKU CH-A51T-K517R MPN AMV2GTI

A 17 dBi sector antenna operating from 2.30 to 2.60 GHz for point-to-multipoint base stations

  • 17 dBi gain extends base station reach
  • 30 to 2.60 GHz frequency optimises coverage pattern
  • Advanced RF isolation cuts co-location interference
  • Variable beamwidth configures sector performance
  • Lightweight rugged build suits outdoor base stations

Carrier-Class PtMP Sector Antenna

The Ubiquiti Networks AMV2GTI is a carrier-class point-to-multipoint basestation antenna designed for wireless internet service providers. It delivers 17 dBi gain across the 2.30 to 2.60 GHz frequency range for extended base station reach.

WISP Deployments Needing Sector Coverage

This antenna suits operators building sectorised networks who require advanced RF isolation and variable beamwidth configuration to reduce co-location interference. Buyers needing omnidirectional coverage for full client access should look at a different antenna type.

17 dBi Gain at 2.30-2.60 GHz

The 17 dBi gain figure determines whether this sector antenna provides sufficient signal improvement for your link budget. Verify that the 2.30 to 2.60 GHz band matches your regulatory domain and radio equipment before purchasing.

Questions about this item

What additional hardware is required to use the 17 dBi sector antenna with an access point?

You need a compatible radio or access point that accepts an RP-SMA connection and operates within the 2.30 to 2.60 GHz band.

Will the 2.30-2.60 GHz antenna interfere with radios using nearby frequencies on the same tower?

The airMAX Titanium Sector is designed for high RF isolation to reduce co-location interference when mounted alongside other sectors.

How can I verify the antenna is delivering the expected 17 dBi gain after installation?

Check the received signal level on the linked client radios; a properly aligned sector should show stronger signals across its coverage sector compared to a lower-gain antenna.
