A 5 GHz PtMP subscriber station with an integrated 24 dBi dish antenna, 10/20/30/40/50 MHz channel width flexibility and a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port
The LTU-Pro is a 5 GHz Point-to-MultiPoint subscriber station that communicates with an LTU-Rocket base station. It uses proprietary LTU technology instead of standard 802.11 Wi-Fi, delivering an integrated 24 dBi dish antenna for long-range links. Outdoor UV-stabilised plastic housing in white protects the radio in exposed locations. A single 10/100/1000 Ethernet port provides the wired connection.
The sealed plastic enclosure relies on passive cooling with no moving parts, so operation is silent. Power is supplied through the Ethernet port, keeping cabling simple for mast or pole mounting. Typical draw stays modest for a 24 dBi integrated radio, allowing deployment on standard PoE injectors or switches without special provisioning. The compact 12.46 by 12.46 by 6.68 inch form factor fits discreetly on customer premises.
This unit functions only as a client in a Point-to-MultiPoint network and must pair with an LTU-Rocket base station; it cannot operate as a standalone access point or bridge. Channel width flexibility of 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 MHz and independent TX/RX frequency selection help avoid local interference. Modulation up to 4096QAM maximises spectral efficiency on the licensed band. Buyers needing a base station or a point-to-point link should look elsewhere.

Mount the 12.46"H x 12.46"W x 6.86"D UV-stabilized white enclosure on a pole or wall using the included bracket, then use the web UI signal meter to fine-tune azimuth and elevation until RSSI peaks; the step most often missed is locking both axes before tightening the final bolts.
Inspect the dish radome and Ethernet port seal annually for UV damage or water ingress, clean the radome with mild soap and water if debris builds up, and verify the 10/100/1000 Ethernet link speed remains at 1000 Mbps; no internal components are user-serviceable.
The integrated radio tops out at 4096QAM modulation, so spectral efficiency caps before the 1000 Mbps Ethernet port saturates; sustained throughput is therefore limited by the 50 MHz channel and proprietary LTU framing rather than the wired interface.
