Outdoor Cat 5e cable for Gigabit links

This 1,000-foot (305 m) white cable uses 24 AWG solid copper conductors with internal foil shielding and a built-in ESD drain wire. The weatherproof jacket is designed to protect Gigabit Ethernet connections from harsh outdoor conditions and electromagnetic interference.

Suits installers running permanent outdoor drops

Builders who need pre-terminated patch cords or cables rated for direct burial without conduit should look at other products. This bulk reel is intended for field termination on site.

Category 5e rating defines the performance ceiling

The cable is specified to Cat 5e, so it supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds over the full 1000 ft length. Applications requiring certified Cat 6 or higher bandwidth must use a different cable grade.
