Five compact white ceiling-mount access points in a pack

Ubiquiti Networks

Ubiquiti Networks UAP-NANOHD-5-US access point 5-pack

SKU CH-VM54-1P7PQ MPN UAP-NANOHD-5-US

A pack of five compact dual-band wireless access points with 4x4 MU-MIMO and 802.3af PoE support

  • Compact design fits tight spaces
  • Dual-band 4x4 MU-MIMO handles many devices
  • 3af PoE powers the unit over Ethernet
  • LED ring shows device status at a glance
  • UniFi Controller manages thousands of APs without licence fees

Compact enterprise Wi-Fi pack

The Ubiquiti Networks UniFi nanoHD Access Point five-pack delivers dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 connectivity with 4x4 MU-MIMO in a small form factor. It is suited for offices, schools or hospitality venues that need managed wireless coverage across multiple rooms.

PoE power and controller limits

Each unit draws power through 802.3af Power over Ethernet, so a compatible switch or injector is required for every access point. The bundled UniFi Controller software manages thousands of devices without licence fees, but initial adoption and firmware updates need a reachable management host on the same network.

Five-unit capacity and coverage headroom

Five nanoHDs comfortably cover a medium-density floor plan with concurrent client loads such as guest Wi-Fi, IoT devices and staff laptops. Capacity diminishes in high-interference environments or when client counts exceed the radio's spatial-stream limits, requiring additional units or wired backhaul to maintain throughput.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the five-pack or single units for a small office?

The five-pack provides five identical nanoHD access points in one box, simplifying a multi-room deployment while keeping each unit managed through the same UniFi Controller.

What throughput can I expect from the 4x4 MU-MIMO radio in daily use?

The 4x4 MU-MIMO Wave 2 radio serves multiple compatible clients at once, so aggregate throughput scales with the number of connected devices rather than peaking for a single link.

How does 802.3af PoE limit where I can mount each AP?

Each access point draws power through the Ethernet cable, so you only need a PoE-enabled switch or injector — no separate mains outlet at the mounting location.
