4MP PTZ Outdoor Camera

The Ubiquiti Networks UVC-G5-PTZ-B is a 4-megapixel pan-tilt-zoom network camera built for outdoor surveillance. It captures 2K video at 2688 x 1512 resolution and 30 frames per second using a CMOS sensor. A 2x optical zoom lens covers 3.42 mm to 6.85 mm focal lengths. Infrared and LED spotlight illumination reaches 65.62 ft for colour night vision.

Installers needing PoE+ and AI tracking

This camera suits installers who want a single PoE+ cable for power and data, integrated microphone audio capture and AI-driven person detection with automatic tracking. The IK04 and IP66 rated housing supports wall, pole, in-ceiling, pendant, conduit or surface mounting. Buyers who need wireless connectivity or local storage without a separate recorder should consider other solutions.

2x optical zoom lens range

The variable focal length of 3.42 mm to 6.85 mm provides true optical zoom without digital quality loss. This specification determines how closely the camera can magnify distant subjects while maintaining 4MP detail. If the required field of view demands a wider or longer range than this lens provides, a different camera model will be necessary.
